In 2019 I obtained a grant from the Academia de España en Roma with a project that was only woven together, a starting point: Investigate the extent to which the compositional structure affects the narrative, taking the Italian altarpieces as an object of analysis and put them in relation to the comic.
The project finally materializes in an exhibition in which the relationship between the drawings and the exhibition space takes on a leading role, and a publication, which transfers the physicality and three-dimensionality of the altarpieces to paper.

The main character is the repetition itself. Try and fail and the duty of doing things once and another.
The protagonists of this story embody the obligation to repeat: Sísifo who pushing the stone up the mountain every day, Penélope who waits for ages, undoing at night what she weaves by day, and Coyote,the one who tries and ends always trapped in his own trap.
